Contemporary Work

‘I began this project looking at how a person reflects on their past through the journey of life they have experienced. Artists influences helped me to develop the idea of how the evacuation can still affect someones life now. Using my Grandad as the model proved very effective, because he himself went through the experiences during World War 2, so I could emulate his emotions through my own works. As the project progressed, I began to look deeper into memories and the aging process. My final piece for this project dealt with how the evacuation can still damage and scar life today; I showed this through strong emotions and a mixed media piece which had a crumbling effect to show the connotations of painful situations and memories‘

The concept behind my logo

I haven’t previously posted the reasons and concept behind my logo, however i feel that design is based on two key aspects in which i deliver. Concept and Execution. The separated M and B relate to these ideas, and establish a correlation between the two to create something special, I.E the logo.

Branding mock up prints

I wanted to create a sort of accordion fold so that it showed each little segment of the CV in 5 different categories. I felt that this would look really striking and create an engaging size. This also allows me to create a pocket to hold it, this will work as an envelope in which i will send to clients. The first panel allows for a welcome section, in which gives a small summary of my abilities and contact details.

I am currently a student at Canterbury Christ Church University studying a degree (BA Hons) in Graphic Design.  I am a creative, confident and outgoing person who craves a challenge and seeks to find new things. I believe my innovative approach to new design enables me to test boundries and question current trends. I currently work on behalf of an automotive company, who provides a ‘Live Chat’ service to hundreds of clients and customers.  This job represents my communication skills and conveys my ability to deal with customers.

Self branding

I am currently branding myself, and i was aiming for sleek, elegant and sexy.  Here in these showcases are some ideas regarding business card, CV and Covering Letter. A few things still need tweaking but i feel i am heading in the right direction.
